When you think you’re on the edge of the world, you’ve got the CBBC Compass Bank
With the arrival of the new millennium, the CBB Compass Bank is poised to become a household name.
This bank has been on the market for a few years, but the first real-world customer has been the country’s largest bank, Merrick Bank.
The bank’s CEO and founder, Brian Merrick, recently tweeted that he and his team have been working to create a bank that would work better for the future.
“I think we are on the right path to building a bank which will allow the country to have access to the best of the best, which means being able to have confidence in our banking system, not just the bank that we have,” he said.
“The new CBBC bank is going to be a world class bank with the best and most reliable technology and a bank you can trust to make your everyday banking transactions as secure as possible.”
The CBBC is the world’s largest national bank with over $4 trillion in assets and a total of 10,000 branches across the country.
It was established in 1851, and has been a cornerstone of Australia’s banking system for almost a century.
